Does anyone know what the title of JMF's poem in Patti Perret's The Faces of Fantasy might be, or if it has been published elsewhere? (No title is given in the book.) The first line is "How lovely that the chemistry of silver."

OK, this sent me all the way down to the basement to pull my correspondence files from 1996 and '97. I know Mike and I talked about that sestina, and I have a handwritten correction in my copy of Faces of Fantasy of the typo in the first line of stanza four ("sting" s/b "strange"), but it must've been at the Chicago WFC that year because it surely isn't in the letters. Sorry.

As far as I know it doesn't have a title, there isn't one written into my FoF and if I knew about it I'd've made a note even if Mike didn't. And I don't think I've ever seen it elsewhere or heard him mention any other publication.

Anyone else know anything?

No title as far as I know.

And every friend's copy Mike got near has that handwritten correction. It is a delightful mark of authenticity. ;-)
